Insurance is one of the fastest growing sectors in India . Only 6 % of the population of the country is covered with life insurance . The penetration is as low as 0.9% in non-life insurance . Health Insurance reached only 3 % of the population . In India , the population is more than 110 million rupees and barely 52 companies operating in the insurance industry. If we assume that only 50 % of the population is insured , but we meet .. 10,000 companies meet the needs of 55 crore people
Health insurance penetration has reached up to 3 % of the population . The national government condemns Life Insurance penetration to 40 % on Life Insurance 30 % Insurance and General 15 % of the population in 2030 .. The specialized functions in the insurance industry has been slow and outsourced so many new companies will go to in this area. India remains Insurance Hub of the world . Insurance will play key role in strengthening the economy further .
